About the Conference


The 10th Annual Nanotechnology Conference – NANOMAT2026 will take place in Brno, Czech Republic, 7–10 July 2026. This milestone edition marks a decade of bringing together leading researchers, innovators, and industry experts from around the world to discuss the latest advances in nanomaterials, nanotechnology, and their applications.
Building on the success of previous NANOMAT conferences, NANOMAT2026 will provide a vibrant platform for:
  • Presenting cutting-edge research in nanomaterials and nanoscience
  • Engaging in interdisciplinary dialogue across physics, chemistry, biology, and engineering
  • Strengthening collaborations between academia and industry
  • Encouraging young researchers and students through dedicated sessions and awards
With plenary and keynote lectures by internationally recognized scientists, oral and poster sessions, as well as networking and social events, NANOMAT2026 offers an inspiring environment for sharing ideas, forging new partnerships, and shaping the future of nanotechnology.

The scientific program of NANOMAT2026 will be organized into specialized symposia covering the most exciting areas of nanoscience and nanotechnology. Participants are invited to submit abstracts to one of the following symposia:

🔷​Symposium on Energy Conversion and Storage Materials
       This symposium aims to attract experts working in the field of energy storage materials.
          a. Li-ion batteries, Na-ion batteries, supercapacitors;
          b. Fuel Cells;
          c. Organic-inorganic perovskite solar cells;
         d. Organic polymer solar (OPV) cells;
         e. Hydrogen generation and storage;
          f. Light-emitting diodes;
          g. Optoelectronic devices for efficient energy usage;
          h. Self-powered nanodevices/nanosystems;
          i. Photovoltaics;
          j. Piezoelectric nanogenerators;
​🔷Symposium on Synthesis and Characterization of Nanomaterials
       To cover the development in naomaterials synthesis and characterization we also included a separate section which will focus on various topics such as:
          a. Synthesis of inorganic nanomaterials
          b. Electrodeposition of thin films
          c. Hydrothermal synthesis of organic/inorganic nanomaterials
          d. Various techniques for characterization of nanomaterials and thin films
          e. Polymeric nanomaterials

The goal of the symposium is to discuss the recent progresses in the field of nanobiotechnologies. The topics will cover the following areas:

a. Synthesis of nanomaterials for bio-applications
        b. Labelling of cells and microorganism with nanomaterials
        c. Drug delivery with nanoparticles
        d. Microfluidic devices

        e. Microfluidic chip-based technologies
        f. Bioanalysis within Microfluidics

        g. Detection of tumor and cancer cells with nanomaterials
        h. New concepts for detection and delivery of nanomaterials into living cells

This is the ten annual meeting of the European Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Association (ENNA). After the success of NANOMAT2025 (Zagreb, Croatia), NANOMAT2024 (Vienna, Austria), NANOMAT2023 (Warsaw, Poland), Nanomat2022 (Bratislava, Slovakia), Nanomat2019 (Prague, Czech Republic), Nanomat2018 (Viena, Austria) and Nanomat2017 (Budapest, Hungary) we decided to hold the next event in Hungary. It is anticipated that 150+  people attend the NANOMAT2026 event. The conference aims to gather experts and young scientists from all over the world. The conference venue is situated in a convenient location. In close proximity to the conference venue, there are various options for accommodations.​
